Our Mission:

Founded in 1999, we're a non-profit educational organization in the Mount Agamenticus region of southern Maine. Our facilities include a nature museum & classroom, 16 acres adjacent to a large wilderness area.

Spring Youth Programs- ENROLLMENT OPEN!


 
Wilderness Skills for Homeschoolers:
 
Dates: each Wednesday from 9am-3pm, March 24- June 2 (no program April 21)
 
Ages: 6-16 year olds, split into age appropriate groups
 
Cost: $450 for the 10 week session- includes seasonal overnight!
 

Young Naturalist Program

Dates: each Thursday from 1-4pm, March 25- June 3 (no program April 22)

Ages: 6-10 year olds

Cost: $250 for the 10 week session
 

 
Outdoor Girls!

Dates: 3 Saturday meetings: April 3, May 15-16 (overnight) & June 5

Ages: 8-14 year old girls

Cost: $195 for the 3 month session (includes overnight!)

 
Forest Scouts

Dates: 3 Saturday meetings: April 17, May 8 & June 5-6 (overnight)

Ages: 8-15 year old boys

Cost: $195 for the 3 month session (includes overnight!)
 

 
 
Canada Lynx Research Expedition
 
Date: March 7th - 12th  2010 (Sunday - Friday)
 
Description:Take part in our 8th annual citizen science field expedition to the wintry woods of northern Maine. Working in conjunction with wildlife biologists, we spend a week seeking out, tracking, trailing, and collecting useful information on the Canada Lynx. Staff include Alexej Siren - State of Maine Lynx Project Field Staff and Dan Hansche - Wildlife Track & Sign Specialist.
 
Location: North Maine Woods (exact location to be determined)
 

Cost: $695 per person - all food, lodging, and instruction included.
