WILDERNESS SKILLS FOR HOMESCHOOLERS
A Full Day of Nature for Youth Ages 6-16years old (sign up all the kids!)
Many parents wish they knew a lot of woods skills to share with their kids (or wish they had to the time to share the skills they do have). This full-day program (9am-3pm) focuses on stimulating children's existing passions, their desire to learn more, and their innate love of nature. We build off those blocks and add layers of learning and experience in wilderness skills, such as: making cordage, bow and drill fire making, stone boiling, sensory awareness games, emergency fire building, wild food gathering and preparation, search skills, practical camping skills and more.
Program runs Wednesdays, 9am-3pm. October-June. (Fall, Winter & Spring Sessions).
